Amy Widmer NC LMBT #7526, Reiki Practitioner II, has spent the past five years commited to her work, which focuses on both massage therapy and Reiki treatment. Her experience in the two, both seperately and togehter, combines Amy's talent for therapeutic touch and restorative healing.
Amy believes that our bodies have the capacity to heal themselves, and that Massage therapy and Reiki are some of the purest forms of "medicine" that we can offer to ourselves. She also believes that wellness and vitality are possible, even with acute and chronic pain by incorporating these self care routines into one's quest for a balanced life.
Amy's unique style of massage is guided by the needs of the individual and incorporates Swedish, Deep tissue massage with an influence of Thai massage and stretching. All which lead to a more graceful, fluid body that becomes pain free. Her clients include atheletes, executives, acute pain suffers, pregnant moms, and aging adults.
Amy believes that Reiki is "sublime" and beautiful work. Reiki allows the client to be the guide their healing process. As a Reiki practitioner, Amy becomes the facillitator by helping the energy resume it's balanced flow throughout the system and all of it's organs. Recognized by more and more Western medicine, it is believed that Energetic medicine is THE medicine of the future. Reiki is quickly becoming known as a viable way to support wellness. Reiki can be safely applied to any issues relating to imbalances in one's mind, body, or spirit.
